(IN ENGLISH: “A CHASM OF PRECIOUS TIME”)
This is the title of one of Elin’s most popular songs with lyrics by her father, Jens Pauli Heinesen. The song has gained international recognition.
There are two versions of the song – the original one from the NALJA-album published in 1988, and a later edition from 2002 recorded with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Tórshavn Men’s Choir, arranged by Danish composer Søren Hyldgaard, which today is the most well-known.
